20 years at the intersection of technology and leadership

I started my career as a network engineer — hands-on with IP/MPLS infrastructure, Cisco systems, and WAN design for major Romanian enterprises including Petrom and Carpatica Bank. That technical foundation shapes how I think about every operational and strategic challenge I take on today.

Over the following two decades, I moved progressively into leadership: first managing network monitoring and security teams at Telekom Romania (formerly Romtelecom), then leading business and wholesale services, and eventually taking on Director and Project Director roles at Huawei Technologies.

At Huawei, I’ve had the privilege of leading a 340-person field operations organisation, managing managed services portfolios worth over $9M annually, and building a Global Service Centre operation from scratch — navigating the complexity of multi-market delivery, customer relationships, and continuous improvement simultaneously.

I hold an Executive MBA from the University of Sheffield, a Master’s in Project Management, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest. I’m deeply interested in cybersecurity and the evolving landscape of cloud operations.
